replacement windows charlotte

We have personally installed thousands of replacement windows in the Charlotte area. We have been in the replacement window and siding business for over 25 years. Tired of seeing unsatisfied customers due to cheap sales gimmicks, inferior products, and poor installations we decided to form Arc Energy Systems. Our installation department is headed up by American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Master Certified installers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are Your Windows Energy Star Qualified?
Yes! All of our products are Energy Star certified, Windows can only carry the ENERGY STAR label if they are tested by an independent laboratory through the NFRC program and meet specific, predetermined energy efficiency measures. By selecting ENERGY STAR products, you will reduce your energy costs and help make the environment cleaner.

Do your windows qualify for Energy Tax Credits.
Yes when available-because all of our windows carry the Energy Star Label, and our products have been tested and certified. We will educate and provide you with all the information and documentation needed to claim any available tax credits.

Do your windows help prevent fading of carpet, floors, pictures and furniture?
Using any one of our windows will filter out damaging UV light. It features a special coating that reduces these damaging rays by up to 900% compared to that of a clear insulated glass unit.

What does AAMA or NFRC certified mean to me as a homeowner?
The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) sets all performance standards, product certification and educational programs for the window industry. When a product passes AAMA tests, it ensures long, reliable service if properly installed and maintained correctly. The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) is a non-profit organization created by the Department of Energy and the window, door and skylight industry. It provides consistent ratings on window, door and skylight products pertaining to the energy performance of that product.
A NFRC label is placed on window, door, and skylight products to inform consumers about a product’s U-factor. Factors taken into consideration for the U-factor rating include: the ability of the product to block warming caused by sunlight, light transmittance and air leakage by infiltration through cracks in the product assembly.

Replacement Windows Charlotte

Better comfort - Newer replacement windows are designed to insulate your rooms. They will keep a home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, which will keep the house comfortable year-round.

Boosted insulation - Single-pane windows have bad insulation. Modern designs are more energy-efficient, which means they reduce your energy bills and are built tough enough so that you don’t have to replace broken glass too much in the frigid winter months.

Security - Replacement windows have a higher resistance to damage than older windows. They are perfect to install in homes that are constantly going through hurricanes, floods, or other intense weather conditions.

Eco-friendly - If you’re trying to jump into the eco-friendly movement and raise the energy-efficiency of your home, then these windows are perfect for you. With modern manufacturing and design techniques, they are built to use less energy and deplete less natural resources.
